Don't be intimidated by the words "elegant" and "fashionable." Salon is a French word, and we all know how snooty the French can be. Reaching Productions, however, is an American outfit, and its salons are inclusive, friendly affairs meant to provide a place for people to incubate their creative projects and rediscover their inner artists.
Woman-friendly, queer-friendly, and all-inclusive, these monthly affairs take place in a comfy living room not far from the Red Line. There's always whole leaf tea in china pots, and folks bring teatime snacks to share. Past attendees have included photographers, writers, performers, filmmakers, visual artists, and folks with a myriad of creative interests.
